Automation Capabilities
Intellect has created standardised framework and tooling using multiple technologies such as Selenium and Eggplant that have driven execution time down by over 90% in some scenarios whilst also increasing scope by over 375%.
We have a proven track record towards reaching positive ROI on automation tool investment, doing so in just 18 months time. Ongoing savings are running at over 10 FTE month on month through the use of the framework implemented. To enable this we have created a set of additional capabilities within these tools to allow for co-existence of legacy and new Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) scripts within a single framework for running in the Cl/CD pipeline.
Test Program Leadership
Experience in delivering Programme level Test leadership during large multi year enterprise wide transformation programmes including full migration capabilities for multi release data migrations. Intellect defined and delivered the largest UK migration in Financial Services 2018-2019 as £70 Billion FUM moved from legacy mainframe to new back-office system.
During 2020 Intellect took on the testing and assurance responsibilities for the largest roll out of Salesforce in the UK’s financial services industry as it was rolled out in under six months to over 10,000 prospective users.
This was delivered on time and to quality levels agreed and has seen extensive further development as legacy applications are now being subsumed into the Salesforce ecosystem at a large UK Wealth Management firm.
Migration Testing
Intellect supports the scaling needs around migration testing; along with planning, preparation, timely delivery of services and associated system changes to support migration. We also specialize in Extract Test and Load (ETL), ELT, Stream or Batch processing. We have completed numerous complex migrations at scale across multiple business lines, and offer multi dimensional data analysis for pre and post data migration testing.
Achieving data reconciliation to the penny on a total value of over £69.9 Billion delivering history for over 114,404,631 Transaction records, Intellect assured a major migration programme for a FTSE 100 Wealth Manager so all migration events happened on time and to defined quality levels. This was achieved whilst also launching multiple new products on the target system to ensure that this Wealth Manager continued to extend its market leading position.
Test Accelerators
As part of our engagement on any delivery or consulting role we have a relentless focus on helping identify Test Accelerators to unlock faster, more efficient testing. This includes the re-use of existing and evolving patterns around data mining, test runs and tool audits. Intellect have a defined set of accelerators that we are continuously adding too that allow us to achieve tasks such as full audit of ALM records, comparison of applications screens and data pre and post upgrades, harness designs to allow for middleware simulation during early phases of testing with all of these being available for review against your individual operating environment and technology stack as appropriate.
